Santa Monica Vikings Youth Lacrosse is a parent-volunteer run 501c3 corporation.

Our revenue comes from a mix of registration fees, fundraising and donations.

Our expenses include:

  • coaching
  • field space
  • league fees (fees for competition in organized leagues)
  • equipment (goals, creases, nets, balls etc.)
  • general administrative costs (accounting, mailboxes, website, printing etc.)

There are no paid positions in the administration or running of the SMVYL program.

Because we do our very best to keep registration fees as low as possible,  give partial or full scholarships to 15-20% of our players (we don’t believe financial means should limit participation), we are always thankful for any donations large or small that members of our Vikings community and the larger Santa Monica & lacrosse communities are willing to make.

All donations to SMVYL are TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
