Vikings Winter 2024-2025 Season Registration Now Open!
We are thrilled to announce that registration for the Vikings Winter 2024-2025 Season is now open!
Practices will begin on Tuesday, December 7th.
We will host teams in the following divisions as defined by current school grade:
BOYS — K/1; 2/3; 4/5; 6-8; 7-8
GIRLS — K-2; 3-5; 6-8
GAMES for the winter season will be played in the LOS ANGELES WINTER SIXES league. Competition for winter season will be a modified game format known as SIXES. SIXES is a small sided, fast paced and fun version of the traditional game played on a short field. It is exceptional for skill development due to the high volume of reps and touches inherent in the format. SIXES is also the game format that will be included in the 2028 OLYMPIC GAMES in Los Angeles.
We can’t wait to see everyone back out on the fields!
GO VIKINGS!!!!

About the Program
Founded in 2007, Santa Monica Vikings Youth Lacrosse is one of the oldest lacrosse programs in Los Angeles and has been instrumental in promoting and growing both the game and the supporting infrastructure for lacrosse in West LA and in the South Bay.
We focus on character, teamwork, responsibility and – most importantly – FUN. Ours is a culture of inclusion and respect. We take great pride in teaching the game to new players as well as developing and honing the skills of our more experienced players.
We welcome all players regardless of experience and do everything we can to make every child’s time playing lacrosse as positive and enjoyable as possible. After all, every board member is also a parent of at least one Vikings player.
SM Vikings has a long history of success in competition which we attribute to our coaches, to our Vikings culture and most importantly to the fun that our kids have.
