Thank you to those that participated in the winter sixes season. There are a few practices left and last day of games on Saturday, February 21st.

We hope you and your player had fun, enjoyed the faster paced and developmentally focused season these last few months. Lacrosse is traditionally a spring sport, but here in Southern California the weather is conducive to playing throughout the winter as well, and so, the Winter Sixes leagues exist.

For spring, there will be more programs, more teams and
more players participating.

We will be hosting teams in all divisions for both boys and girls.

BOYS: K-2; 3/4; 5/6; 7/8
GIRLS: K-2; 3/4; 5/6; 7/8

Practices

Practices will be at Airport Park and Belmar in Santa Monica.

The first week of practices will begin Wednesday, February 25th.

MONDAYS – BELMAR – 5:30 – 7:00

BOYS 3/4; BOYS 5/6; BOYS 7/8

TUESDAYS – AIRPORT PARK – 5:30-7:00

GIRLS K-2; GIRLS 3/4; GIRLS 5/6; GIRLS 7/8

WEDNESDAYS – BELMAR – 5:30-7:00

BOYS K-2; BOYS 3/4; BOYS 5/6; BOYS 7/8

THURSDAYS – AIRPORT PARK – 5:30-7:00

GIRLS 3/4; GIRLS 5/6; GIRLS 7/8

FRIDAY – AIRPORT PARK – 5:30-7:00

OPEN FIELD FOR ALL REGISTERED PLAYERS

GAMES

Spring season games will be played in the LAYLL league.

Girls will play on Saturdays. Boys will play on Sundays.

Games will begin the weekend of March 7th & 8th.

Games will end with playoffs and championships the weekend of May 16th & 17th.

No games weekend of April 4th.

Games will be on Saturdays for girls and Sundays for boys.

Games will be in Santa Monica, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Glendale and possibly other fields in the area.

Game schedules and locations will be provided by the league.

A tentative schedule for the first few weeks of spring games should be available by March. TeamSnap will be created for each team this spring season to post games schedules and track player RSVP’s.

We hope that your athlete will join us for the spring season! As always, friends are welcome to come for a trial practice or two. Loaner gear is available at the fields.
